    Do I need to consider what insurance my contractor carries?

    While your home is being remodeled, there should be insurance to cover the structure and its contents, but it is important when finding a contractor to ensure their workers are covered if any on-site injuries were to occur. It is a good practice of a reputable business to have this information available if the homeowner wishes. Home Indeed is happy to provide that prior to starting any work.

    Do you guarantee your work?

    Home Indeed not only backs any product warranties and facilitates any warranty requests, but also provides you a 5-year satisfaction guarantee on our workmanship.

    Will I be provided with a schedule for my project?

    We have a project management software program that you will receive an invitation to at the start of your project that will allow you to have access to the progress at your convenience.

    What factors could affect the timeline for my project?

    Since the COVID-19 pandemic began in 2020, the construction supply chain has been a bit shaken up. Just like many other industries, companies in the home remodeling world have been attempting to keep business going as usual while dealing with unstable supply chains, supply chain bottlenecks, increased material prices, and material shortages. 

    Home Indeed has worked tirelessly to limit the effects of this for our clients, however, we believe in full and total transparency with our homeowners, and want to provide a real-world example. Our team ordered windows, for example, in September of 2021. The windows will not be ready until January of 2022.

    Why do I need to have a budget for my project?

    We have the ability to create very extravagant designs and spaces, but if your project budget isn’t in line with what we create for your review, it will be time wasted. If we start with a realistic budget expectation, it allows us to build the design based on both your needs and budget combined. By the questions we ask initially, we can help to narrow down some of your vision and get closer to that realistic budget range.

    What form of payments do you accept?

    The lowest fees to our clients are incurred when using cash or check options for payment methods. There is a credit card fee that is added to any transaction done with this form of payment. 

    There are also a variety of financing options if cash or check options do not work such as home equity loans or construction loans. We want our customers to have a wide array of payment options, so almost anyone can create the home of their dreams. 

    Do you offer free estimates?

    For smaller projects, if the measurements, photos, and details are provided to us, we can usually assemble a rough estimate range for these types of projects as there are fewer variables that generally affect the final cost.

    For larger projects, our initial showroom consultation is free of charge as we know there are many decisions that come into play when selecting the contractor you trust in your home, and a team that meets your expectations. We consider this a chance to get to know us and learn about our team. If you wish to proceed with Home Indeed, our next step would be to sign our Budget Assessment which would include a thorough site visit providing you with a conceptual design & 3-tiered budget options available for a small fee and fully credited to the final project total.

    When are you open for appointments?

    Our showrooms are open Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, and appointments are typically scheduled between 10 am to 4 pm, but we can arrange weekend appointments if necessary!

    How do you plan to address the construction dirt and dust?

    As you know, remodeling can be very dusty and dirty. We not only install plastic dust barriers and drop cloths to try and contain as much of this as possible, but we also have our Build Clean system that allows us to take extra measures to ensure the dust is kept to a minimum and will do what we can to make the construction process as pleasant as possible.

    Do you guarantee the quote I am given?

    We take the necessary steps to ensure we are thorough in the details of your job and your expectations so we offer you a price guarantee, barring any unforeseen circumstances that were not visible to us or we were not made aware of. Any changes made by a homeowner throughout the process will be documented by a change order through our project management software and further charges may be incurred.
